It’s funny the American flag is on this, because everyone makes jokes about people being Kosher, and this insane levels the laws of Kashrut are taken to, but this is the exact meal it’s designed to avoid. I’m not Kosher, but I respect people who are — at heart, there’s a lot to said for not being cruel, and the idea of putting eggs on a chicken sandwich, and possibly boiling a child with its’ mother, seems unnecessarily cruel.

I will explain this the way I explained it to Lauren, although it was regarding Cherry and Honey Bourbons. “It tastes really good. But it’s so women will drink it.” You start the woman drinking the tasty kind and then she’s less afraid to drink the others. That isn’t to say there aren’t woman who know the greatness that is whisk(e)y.

I say that, but honestly a good whiskey shouldn’t have an overwhelming taste of booze and burning.
It’s why I start people off who ask about bourbon and whiskey with Buffalo Trace … the stuff tastes like double rainbows.
Oh track season…. The only thing longer is baseball season.
I basically use Tumblr as a place to find motivation and tips for running — kind of amazing what kind of resources are available.
Now if any of them could help me crack two hours on my next Half.

Four miles? I had trouble with four miles?
These are the nights that make me worry whether or not I’m going to be able to finish the marathon in December. After a three mile run on Tuesday and a seven mile run last night, it was all I could do to get through the four tonight.
I have a 15 miler coming up on Saturday and I’m beginning to worry if I’m going to be able to finish. How do people bounce back so quickly from runs during the week to get through the long runs on the weekend?
